About the Event :

VetPartners invites you to register for our 2022 Mental Health First Aid Training.

Please register for both dates within the same class, as both webinars must be attended in the same class in order for you to become Mental Health First Aid accredited.

Not everyone is knowledgeable, or confident, about offering assistance for mental health concerns in the workplace. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches people the skills necessary to help friends, family or co-workers, who may be experiencing or suffering from mental illness. MHFA is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. You will learn the knowledge and skills to offer first aid for mental health concerns and join a global community at the forefront of mental health.

Once you have registered for your event dates, VetPartners Wellbeing will send you a calendar invite for the Class you have registered for. You will also be given a voucher code to enrol for the eLearning component of the course.

This Mental Health First Aid Training will be delivered through a Blended approach, with an eLearning component to be completed prior to the first webinar. The time commitment is as follows:

- 5-7 hours for the self-guided pre-work eLearning component

- 2x 2.5 hour instructor-led webinars

In line with Mental health first Aid regulations, you will not be able to attend the first webinar if you have not completed the eLearning pre-work.
