The introduction to Python session is for students wanting to learn the basics of the Python programming language. Python is an easy-to-learn programming language. Python is used to develop websites and software, manipulate and analyze data, create data visualization and dashboard, build machine learning algorithms, and much more. Since 2018, the demand for Python programmers has been growing (https://www.tiobe.com/tiobe-index/).
The Python sessions are held once a month for an hour on Sundays. During the monthly Python session, you will be introduced to the primary Python language and work on projects such as Madlibs, Jackpot, Rock Paper Scissors, Tic Tac Toe, and more. The session is divided into the following two parts:
- In Part I, you will learn to use variables, expressions, controls, and loops
- In Part II, you will learn to use a list, dictionary, tuple, and sets.
Knowledge of computer fundamentals.
The session is suitable for beginners interested in developing a program in Python.
Who should take the session?
The session is for people with little or no previous experience in programming. For this Course, only basic computing skills are required. Basic computer skills include navigating folders, surfing the Internet, and using electronic communication tools such as email, text messages, and smartphones.
What do you need?
No prior Python experience is necessary for Part I. For Part II, you need the basic programming skills listed in Part I. You will need access to a computer with the Internet.

Vazi has been awarded “Excellence in Development” for an Electronic Billing System by Mitsubishi’s telecommunication division and Product Data Management System at Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
