These short, guided meditations are intended for all individuals, from those who are just trying meditation for the first time to experienced practitioners- the practices will introduce tools to reconnect with the present moment by calming the busy, anxious mind. Each meditation will include combinations of grounding breathwork, calming visualizations, and mindfulness techniques.

How to Prepare:

  • Have a pillow/bolster or a folded blanket to sit on, if sitting on the floor is not comfortable, a sturdy chair may be used
  • Try to set up a private space where you may be free from distraction or risk of interruption (turn off cell phone/computer notifications)
  • You may choose to enhance your experience by lighting a candle/incense, diffusing essential oils, playing soft music, dimming the lights, sitting outside , etc.

During the Meditation:

  • Please keep your microphone off throughout the duration of the class, the host will allow for questions/comments during the final minutes of class
  • Depending on what you are comfortable with, you may keep your video on or off
  • You are the authority of your experience, so at any point you are welcome to leave the class. Please email juliaoliverldn@gmail.com with any questions or concerns

Keep in mind that meditation is a practice! It is recommended that you come back each week because you will experience more benefits as the skill of meditating is further developed.
