In this Green programming session we look at everything you plan & do with children through a sustainability green lenses. Educators are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of sustainability in early childhood. By ensuring these settings follow sustainability policies and practices through green programming Educators & children can actively contribute to conserving the Earth’s resources. as equal importance is the role they can play in developing sustainability knowledge, attitudes and values in the children that attend childcare. About the facilitator

Heather Baldwin has been working in early childhood sector for 24 years in various roles & been teaching at Swinburne for 10 years.As an early childhood professional she has a strong passion for environmental education in early childhood & believes if we can empower children in their early years to develop an understanding for the environment we can improve & make change to the environment.
