About this Webinar
SURE for Mental Health Webinars are for raising awareness of mental health issues. These sessions are non disclosure sessions and not for the purpose of therapeutic intervention. Some disclosures that have been made, have been triggering for other participants. So we respectfully request that no personal disclosures be made. However if you have been affected by any of the issues raised during the session, please let the facilitators know and they can signpost you to the appropriate services.
About the Session
Anger is a fundamental human response to pain, frustration or displeasure. Sometimes we can find it hard to control this. At this trying time, we may be more inclined to lose our patience due to the anxieties we are all trying to deal with.
This webinar will look at our emotions and why we can become angry; the signs that our anger may be increasing; how to handle our anger; becoming aware of our triggers and communicating our feelings more appropriately; and finally, how to find space in our lives for self care, to relax and allow anger and frustration to leave.
The delivery is given via PowerPoint, discussion and breakout rooms, with time after for questions .
Although we recommend that you have your camera on to benefit from the full experience of this webinar, attending with your camera off is fine, too.
