About the Event :


This program addresses various issues faced by women with regard to their physical health, mental health and well-being.

This program is designed for women and Girls (Between age 18 - 40 years old)

In collaboration with "Let's talk Health ladies" a non-profit organization based in New York by a group of Healthcare workers passionate to spread their wealth of knowledge to empower young women in their community and abroad.

In this workshop, we will discuss depression, anxiety and stress. This will be an engaging and interactive session is designed to provide participants with the opportunity to increase their awareness of mental health and its potential incidence and impact in the community, challenge existing stereotypes of mental illness, and explore strategies to help those who are struggling with mental health issues.

Guest speaker:

Medjine Pierre is an experienced registered nurse of 4 years currently working while pursuing her masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She really enjoyed her clinical rotation in women’s health and noticed a lack of education and stigma in women’s health and decided to create her own nonprofit to help improve women’s health in the community. Her vision is to work in women’s health as a Nurse Practitioner.

Guest speaker:

Emma Kaye is an experienced registered nurse of 3 years currently working while pursuing her masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In the future, she hopes to become a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and further education to achieve DNP to practice research.
