8-week Mindfulness Program in the time of Covid


Mindfulness is paying attention to the present moment, as we are experiencing it, with an open attitude, with the intention of being present. It allows us to respond in a more creative way to the pressures of daily life, ceasing to react automatically conditioned by the force of habit.

When we practice mindfulness, we work with our attention, instead of worrying about what happened or what may happen in the future, mindfulness teaches us to be able to respond appropriately to what is happening in the present moment, be it good or bad. This implies being aware of both ourselves and our thoughts, emotions and sensations, being more present in our body and in our environment.

The latest studies in neuroplasticity show the changes that occur in the brain. The practice of mindfulness contributes significantly to the development of the brain areas involved in well-being and positive emotions, with only 8 weeks of practice.

Series of 8 classes- one per week starting April 7 at 6pm
