About the Event :

MHFAiders are an important role within organisations as part of the overall strategy to support employee wellbeing.

These events have been set up by Protea Solutions as an opportunity to meet people in other organisations who are also supporting the mental wellbeing of others and working to reduce the stigma attached to mental illness. They provide a chance to share knowledge, experiences, resources and support.

These sessions have been described by one attendee as their 'monthly mental wellbeing check in' - this was great feedback as a key reason for setting up these regular events was to ensure self-care.

During the call we will be:

- Reminding attendees of the importance of self care and sharing ideas of helpful coping strategies in times of stress.

- Sharing experiences and knowledge of supporting people through Mental Health First Aid during the times of change and uncertainty.

- Sharing resources and information to further support MHFAiders.

There will be time for attendees to meet and chat informally and also share experiences and ideas through faciliated discussions.

Confidentiality is maintained during sessions in the same way as when carrying out MHFA. If reflecting on a situation information should only be shared generically and anonymously for debriefing and reflection. As with all MHFA , it is not therapeutic, counselling or advising and attendees are reminded of the importance of self care.

This is a FREE event with limited places available.

At the discretion of Protea Solutions places may be limited to two per organisation.
