About the workshop

Looking after your mental health at work is for any undergraduate student who’d like to learn more about mental health at work, either as a new graduate or on a placement.

In a small group of around 10-15 students, and led by an experienced mental health trainer, you’ll explore some key mental health topics that we think every student and new graduate should know. The session will help you to:

• increase your awareness of mental health in the workplace

• discover techniques for staying well at work

• identify ways to support yourself while looking for work and experiencing uncertainty

• increase your awareness of places to find support for mental health

• increase confidence around conversations about mental health at work.After the workshop, you’ll be encouraged to access our online resource hub specifically for students at university. The hub includes information on different mental health problems, commonly asked questions about mental health, suicide awareness, and how different identity groups can find appropriate support. It will also include extra information on mental health at work and further resources to support you.
