About the Event :

Please note there are three sessions for this course and you should attend all three.

Although we recommend that you have your camera on to benefit from the full experience of this webinar, attending with your camera off is fine, too.

About the sessions

Active listening skills 1 workshop - 20/01/2021 @ 6pm

In active listening skills workshop 1 you will be learning about elements of active listening such as body language, paraphrasing and reflection and summarising. You will get to practice this through role play in three person groups called triads.

Active listening skills workshop 2 - 27/01/2021 @ 6pm

In active listening skills workshop 2 you will be learning about, immediacy, empathy and advanced empathy and unconditional positive regard and practicing these elements in role plays.

Active listening skills workshop 3 - 03/02/2021 @ 6pm

In the third and last workshop you will be looking at asking questions and putting all the skills learned in workshops 1,2 and 3 into action in role plays.

Joining Instructions

1. A link and password to join the Zoom webinar will be emailed one day before the session and again one hour before the session. Please check your junk mailbox, if you have not received the link.

2. Upon joining the meeting, you will be put into a ‘waiting room’ until the host is ready to start. Five minutes after the start time, the webinar will close and no one else will be permitted to join.
